The KWS purchases figurative art by Swiss artists for its collection. Purchases are normally made through galleries, which the Foundation considers to be a core component of the art development and which the Foundation consequently supports through its purchase policy.
The KWS purchases works by outstanding contemporary artists from all over Switzerland. These are normally recognized artists, although they may also be new talent identified as showing great potential.
No requests or applications are accepted for purchases of works.
